How much does review management software cost (and what drives the price)
Why pricing is so hard to compare in this space
Search for "pricing" on several well-known review management tools and you won’t find a single number — just a form asking for your phone number so their sales team can call you. That’s not an accident: when price depends on a phone call, it’s easier to set it to whatever budget they sense you have, not to the actual value of the service.
Other tools do publish a price, but split it across several separate paid modules (reviews, website, chat, payments...), so the first number you see isn’t what you end up paying once you need more than one.
What actually drives the price
Number of locations: almost every tool charges per location or connected account, so a 10-store chain pays a multiple of the single-location price, not a flat fee.
Whether AI replies are included or a paid add-on: on several platforms, generating automatic replies is a separate module with its own cost.
Whether it includes active review requests (SMS/email/WhatsApp) or just centralizes what you already have: many cheap tools only display your existing reviews without helping you get more.
Whether the base plan caps monthly AI replies — something rarely highlighted on the pricing page, worth asking about directly.
The checklist before you sign anything
1. Is the price you see the final price, or are there separate modules you’ll likely need (website, chat, payments)?
2. Can you see the price without leaving your phone number or booking a demo?
3. Does the plan include actively requesting reviews, or only displaying them?
4. Is there a minimum contract term, or can you cancel any month?
5. Does the price scale by location predictably, or does it "depend" until you talk to sales?
